‘lbphotocinema’ comes from an inside joke from my cousin, and long time friend Tristan Seever. We both fell in love with film at the same time, roughly around 2009-2010, and photography shortly after. So the joke is, I’ve always been taller than him, and one day as teenagers we came up with the nicknames ‘Big Bear’ and ‘Little Bear’. Me, being several inches taller than him, was naturally ‘Little Bear’, while he took up the mantle of ‘Big Bear’. Being that I learned the craft with him, as well as being apart of my upbringing, ‘LB’ became sentimental to me and decided to add it to my handle. Combined with my two passions in life, good cinema and photography, ‘lbphotocinema’ was born.
